Menelik King is a filmmaker born and raised in the east suburbs of Toronto, Canada. His love for filmmaking began at an early age along with his love for music.

In 2020, after the release of his first short film ‘Don’t Trip’, Menelik set out to make a career in film by joining the Director’s Guild of Canada as an Assistant Director. Since then, he has worked on a number of large feature films in production.

While navigating the large feature world, Menelik has released a number of shorts that have been centred around love, faith and salvation. Many of which have won awards and have been selected in film festivals around the world.
